Bridalveil has become a bit of a
celebrity, rubbing noses with author
Dr. Don Givens and singer/song writer Randy Travis.
Dr. Don Givens and his wife Miriam came to me 3 years
ago looking
for their perfect family addition. They found
her here at Bridalveil. They took a beautiful seal
bi-color kitten
home with them and named her Princess Leilani
Aloha. If you would like to know
more about the meaning
behind her name you can go to Dr. Givens book, with Foreward by
Randy Travis, "Storms of Life" and read about her on page #155.
Dr. Givens has found that owning a Bridalveil Ragdoll is indeed
the meaning of
peace and contentment.

For those of you who have never seen the rare flame point
Ragdoll, Quincy is the most
exquisite example. He has
everything... well you can read for yourself what his "humans"
have to say about this gorgeous boy. And remember - he's
only one year old. Ragdolls continue to grow until about the
age of 4!
(Quincy is out of Lacey Monet of Bridalveil and our
Sir Figaro of Bridalveil).
Deanna –I've attached a few
pictures of Quincy, which i took this morning, on his 1st
birthday.
Quincy is doing very well. He’s 11.5
lbs now and really
a pistol. He and Xander (our almost
3-year-old 16.5-lb Maine Coon) are best buddies.
Although
Quincy is smaller than Xander, it’s clear that Quincy is in
charge. Ask him,
he’ll tell ya!
Thanks again for
this wonderful little being.
Regards,
-Katie

Dear Deanna,
We absolutely adore our kitty. She is such a dear.
She has really adjusted to her new home.
She loves to play and
sleep. She sleeps with me at night and she is so lovable. You
certainly
did a great job in training her. Took her to the vet
yesterday. He thought she was a very healthy
and smart little
kitten. We really want to thank you for letting us have
one of your fabulous kittens.
All my family thinks that she is the
perfect cat.
Always, Janet

Dear Deanna,
This is the most socialized kitten I have ever
had. She approaches every pair of feet,
cranes her neck up to look
at the giant, and politely asks to be picked up. If there is a lap
available, she clambers into it and makes herself at home. If you
touch her, she purrs. She cries in
tiny peeps, and she purrs like a Maserati, an endearing combination. Even after only an hour or
two
in this strange house, she did not startle at the hair dryer, the
toilet flushing, or even
the vacuum. I have yet to see her run for
cover. When she is in my lap while I read,
she sleeps through my
turning pages. Right now as I am typing, she is sitting
companionably
at my elbow watching, and occasionally licking my
fingers. She is eating well and using
the litter box. What is very clear is this is a kitty that has
only known love
and gentleness, and expects the same from everyone.
You have done a very nice job with her.
Thanks again,
Jean Marie

Thanks again, Deanna

Deanna,
I just can't tell you how happy I am with Sparrow.
She is everyone's favorite. My sister
just loves to carry her around
with her when she comes to visit. And my best friend can't
get
enough of her. She gets along great with the rest of the
family...Well we are working
on her and my poodle. She won't even
look at the dog. This is driving the dog crazy and
entertainment for
the rest of us.
Thank you,
The Johnson Family

Lily
Sky
Deanna,
Sky and Lily are doing great. They both have adjusted so well
and are so happy. I have had
cats off and on through out my
life, but I have never had 2 more adjusted cats. From the
moment
we brought Sky home there was no adjustment period needed on his
part. He came
right in and made himself at home. He acts more
like a dog than a cat. He is so big we cannot
believe it, when
it is feeding time he can stretch from the floor all the way to
the counter and
hook his paws over and try to grab for the food.
Bringing Lily home has really helped Sky stay
busy, they play
all the time and love each other so much. Lily takes to Sky just
like a mother,
always cleaning him and loving on him. We tell
everyone how faboulous these 2 cats are. I will
send more pics
soon. Thanks for making us such happy parents. +

Tracy, and her new
Ragdoll kitten, Mr. Darcy.
...Mr. Darcy: well...1st of all he did not get the memo
about "Adjusting to your
new home". He was unaware that
there was any
adjustment
to be made, he assumed that the
whole place was his. As to
being spoiled, he is a cat, what else is there for him? He
has had
all fan mail forwarded to this address and sends his
regards to all his fans (and he has many).
He still loves
to attack feet and finds his foot fetish to be well supplied
here with the steady
stream of family, friends and piano
students. Oh and he loves having his own 'man-servant';
he
was wondering why he did not have one sooner. Dogs are a
different creature, but they
each have 4 feet making them
something to consider learning to live with. Overall Mr.
Darcy
seems to have always lived here. We are all in love
with him and have been thoroughly
entertained by his
antics. I may have to take another part-time job to feed
him however:
he eats like 4 teenage boys! He is a joy! and
my husband keeps telling him that he is his kitty.
Yeah, I
don't think so!
Tracy, Mr. Darcy and Co.
